The heatmap displays every tracked item across 9 Grand Exchange sectors. Each tile is sized by trade volume and colored by 1-hour price change: green tiles are rising, red tiles are falling, and gray tiles are stable.
How do I read the tile sizes?
Larger tiles represent items with higher combined buy and sell volume. The biggest tiles are the most actively traded items in each sector, making them easy to spot at a glance.
How often does the heatmap update?
Price data refreshes from the OSRS Wiki API every 5 minutes. The heatmap auto-refreshes while you have the page open, pausing when the tab is hidden to save resources.
Can I click on individual items?
Yes. Clicking any tile navigates to that item's detail page with live charts, flip calculator, and full price history. Hovering shows a tooltip with buy price, sell price, margin, and volume.
What are the 9 market sectors?
The sectors are: Food and Consumables, Runes, Herbs and Potions, Ores and Bars, Logs and Planks, Weapons, Armour, Skilling Resources, and Raids and Boss Drops. Each tracks a basket of representative items.
